Finally Cannes film Festival 2012 is over one of the best red carpet events of the year,Cannes has become a massive fashion and glamour event, gorgeous celebrities graced the red carpet..Here are my highlights and top picks of the Cannes fashion carpet!

1.Freida Pinto

 OH Freida ...its hard to believe you dared to wear this neon lime green and you absolutely rocked it, I  loved her natural minimal makeup, sleek ponytail and the gold clutch.Its a gown from Atelier Versace Spring 2012 collection , L'Oreal brand Ambassador Freida Pinto looked effortless and gorgeous. That's how you make an impression!

2.Kirsten Dunst

In a hot pink Christian Dior gown the actress attended the primer of On The Road ,curly hairs,soft makeup and right accessories makes it a perfect Hollywood look.

3. Diane Kruger

Pretty Diane Kruger was stunning at Cannes 2012,she showed up In Vivienne Westwood at the Armour premiere,a gorgeous gold sequinned strapless  gown I loved  hair and makeup of this appearance the most out of all her red carpet looks this year.

4. Irina Shayk

Stunning Russian model walked the red carpet of Cannes2012 during the premier of killing me softly , looking gorgeous in Roberto Cavalli gown which has embellishment at the waist and thigh high split! minimal soft makeup and pretty accessories makes it a perfect red carpet look!

5.Natasha Poly

The L'Oreal Pairs brand ambassador and Russian super model stunned the red carpet in a gorgeous emerald green Gucci gown and paired the dress with emerald earnings, Gucci high heels and smokey eyes...so chic....LOVE!

Worst Dressed of Cannes Film Festival 2012

1. Lara Stone

The face of Calvin Klein  showed up in the Calvin Klein party in a simple silver slip dress,those creases and ill fitting and awkward length.... unforgivable choice of a super model ranked as the number one fashion model in the world! 

2.Jada Pinkett Smith 

The 40 year old actress attended the party thrown by CK,completely overwhelmed in a Paco Rabanne dress,Jada failed to rock this extremely low cut neckline and bold dress.she looked more like a space invader!!

3.Melissa George

Melissa George attended the premier of De Rouille et D'O's in a Calvin klein  sheer peplum dress,its definitely not a red carpet dress and overall it is very boring and awkward look!

4.Fan Bingbing

Its nice to see she shares her Chinese heritage on red carpet but it looks more like a table cloth.

5.Aishwarya Rai

Mommy Aishwarya Rai attended the Amfar dinner in a traditional Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla outfit,again hiding herself conservatively in clothes as if having womanly curves is a crime,harsh contouring and eye makeup made this look even worst,this dress is more suitable for an Indian political gala or Indian wedding not Cannes! I am not against traditional dresses but it should be pretty!
